Rottem Tal-Shahar brings over two decades of investment experience to Uptrend Insights. His journey began in real estate, where he built and managed a diverse portfolio. His success culminated in the timely liquidation of all his holdings just before the 2008-2009 market crash, a testament to his ability to anticipate major market shifts.

Following his success in real estate, Rottem expanded his focus to equities and began developing what would become the core of our investment strategy—the RTS stock model. For five years, he sharpened his skills under the direct mentorship of legendary trader and IBD founder, William O'Neill. During this time, Rottem implemented and refined the renowned CANSLIM system, further enhancing his model to maximize returns while reducing volatility.

In 2016, Rottem began trading with a live account to demonstrate the power of his rules-based discretionary model in real-time. With over eight years of continuous refinement and proven performance, this is the very same model that powers our exclusive insights here at Uptrend Insights.

Francisco brings a unique and extensive background to Uptrend Insights, with over a decade of experience in financial services and risk management. His career began in public accounting at Ernst and Young, where he honed his skills serving major financial clients, including mutual fund and asset management companies.

He then moved into senior leadership roles for major banks like Capital One, PNC Bank, and Citibank, where he gained significant expertise in investment management, financial standards, and regulatory compliance.

Francisco has leveraged this unique blend of accounting and risk management expertise to enhance and refine the Uptrend Insights investment model. His work has helped to deliver more consistent outsized returns and has strengthened the model's risk management practices, ensuring our strategy is as secure as it is effective.
